The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) and the European Patent Academy organised the seminar “Patent valuation and commercialisation – Making the most of patents for business”, on 20 - 21 March 2014 in Athens.

The event was organised on the occasion of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The main aim of the seminar was to provide an in-depth training on IPR management, as well as an insight into IP audit and evaluation tools. Focus was set on IP valuation and IP risk assessment. Furthermpore, the seminar developed the dos and don'ts in patent commercialisation.

The event was attended by 127 professional coming from 22 countries.

The opening of the event was made Mr. A. Skordas, Deputy Minister of Development and Competitiveness.
