The IA Management tools were developed by the Scottish Enterprise, Scotland. The tools were translated and adapted into Greek by the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI 04/2014) in the frame of the EU project IPorta (“EU ACCESSIBLE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY”) co-funded by the European Commission.

The Main Tools for the capturing and recording your IA are:

A. IA Audit Mindmap
B. IA Audit Questionnaire (IA Register in printed and excel format).
The capturing/recording of IA (A&B) allows companies to record all types of IA that they possess and consists of 8 areas covering different aspects of the business
C. Risk Register (in excel format)
The Risk Register helps to identify an SMEs risk factors with respect to the IA Management and can  be used for the planning and decision making in relation to the protection and enhancement of the company’s IA
D. Action Plan
The action plan is a reference manual for the business and aims to highlight possible risks from improper management of the IA of a company and indicate how to solve them
