{"id":21115,"date":"2026-01-09T16:50:46","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T14:50:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/?page_id=21115"},"modified":"2026-01-09T16:52:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T14:52:38","slug":"various-projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/en\/various-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Various Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>IPORTA PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u00a0<strong>IPorta<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cEU ACCESSIBLE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY\u201d) project was a continuation of\u00a0 IPeuropAware (\u201cIP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular based Actions for SMEs\u201d), EU project.<\/p>\n<p>Within IPorta the partners aimed to coordinate, cooperate and build\u00a0 synergies\u00a0with other partners,\u00a0for enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs by integrating IPRs and the related supporting services in their business plans\/strategies.<\/p>\n<p>The project was co-financed by the European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry), for a duration of 3 years (16.12.2011-15.12.2014), with 15 co-beneficiary partners, out of which 14 National Offices and 11 associated partners. The main activities of the project were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Activity 1: Creation and up-grading of IPR services<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Creation or improvement of IPR support services in cooperation with other actors\/intermediaries for common awareness raising activities and training, for developing, updating and disseminating relevant IP tools eg. for IP valuation, IP management<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activity 2: Expanding further and updating the single EU website <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.innovaccess.eu\/\"><strong>www.innovaccess.eu<\/strong><\/a> with national and European level information on IPR in an SME-friendly manner. Further development of innovaccess website and integration of IP toolbox<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activity 3: Network of national offices helpdesks<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Development of an active and efficient network of \u201chelpdesks\u201d, via training of helpdesks\u2019 staff for improving the offered services, exchange of best practices, update the signposting directory and FAQ on enforcement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>VIP4SME PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>OBI having always as its main goal the support of the public at large and of the SMEs on IP issues, participated in the <strong>VIP4SME<\/strong> Projectof of the European Commission. The project VIP4SME (Value Intellectual Property for SMEs) started on December 2015 and lasted 4 years (15\/12\/2015-14\/12\/2019). Its main objectives were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The support and promotion of services related to IP to the SMEs<\/li>\n<li>The understanding of the value of IP<\/li>\n<li>The adaptation\/implementation of IP policies and\u00a0 strategies for the management of IP<\/li>\n<li>The conversion of IP to commercial value and competitiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under this Project, 2 videos\u00a0have been produced (VIP4SME general, VIP4SME services) and\u00a0 tools\/methodologies were developed for the IP management, that meet best SMEs needs.<\/p>\n<p>Video VIP4SME general:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=M-JsdRCZE0c\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=M-JsdRCZE0c<\/a><br \/>\nVideo\u00a0VIP4SME services:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fjgFMrxKonU\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fjgFMrxKonU<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>INNOVACCESS WEBSITE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the <strong>website INNOVACCESS<\/strong> was the provision via internet of an \u201cOne-Stop-Service\u201d for the users, especially for small and medium size enterprises (sme\u2019s) with general and specific information on intellectual property matters nationally and internationally. It was initially built in the frame of the EU project IPeuropAware and it was subsequently developed under the IPorta EU project.<\/p>\n<p>The website INNOVACCESS was a European Network of the National Intellectual Property Offices of mainly the EU Member States.
