The ultimate goal is to link <strong>Research and Innovation<\/strong> with <strong>economic development<\/strong> and the promotion of <strong>employment<\/strong> in emerging sectors with potential and high added value.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be honored by the presence of the<strong> Minister of Development<\/strong>, <strong>Mr. Takis Theodorikakos<\/strong>, and the <strong>Deputy Minister of Development,<\/strong> <strong>Ms. Anna Mani Papadimitriou<\/strong>, who will also address the audience.<\/p>\n<p>Following the implementation of new programmatic goals by the Ministry of Development, as part of the <strong>National Strategy for Research, Technological Development, and Innovation<\/strong>, in addition to the presentation of the new <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><strong>Innovation Unit&#8221;<\/strong> of OBI, which will serve as the operational arm for supporting investments in Greece by securing research outcomes with industrial property titles, discussions will cover ways to strengthen <strong>startups<\/strong>, the new incentives available for investment in startups, as well as complementary tools available through <strong>NSRF<\/strong> for funding small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>The event is aimed at <strong>Research Institutes<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>Academic Institutions<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>startups<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>SMEs<\/strong>, and the <strong>business community<\/strong>, as well as <strong>individuals and organi<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><strong>ations<\/strong> from the wider region, including <strong>journalists<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/\u0395\u039a\u0394\u0397\u039b\u03a9\u03a3\u0397-\u039f\u0392\u0399-06-09-2024_V7-\u03a0\u03c1\u03bf\u0301\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03bc\u03bc\u03b1-\u03b5\u03ba\u03b4\u03b7\u0301\u03bb\u03c9\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2.pdf\">Event program (Greek)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair, the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) is organising an informational event titled &#8220;Innovation Agency: Supporting Innovative Entrepreneurship&#8221; on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Monasty Autograph Hotel (Opus Hall) at 19:00.
