As part of strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise on issues of protection and management of IP rights, as well as the services offered by the two Offices, outreach activities, and the operation of the Industrial Property Academies, a bilateral meeting was held at the headquarters of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) in Maroussi between executives of the Austrian Patent Office (\u00d6sterreichisches Patentamt) and OBI.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Austrian Patent Office<\/strong> was represented by Mr. Stefan Harasek<\/strong>, President, accompanied by Mr. Thomas Fellner<\/strong>, Vice President, Inventions Division, Ms. Ursula H\u00f6fermayer<\/strong>, Deputy Head of Strategy, Head of IP Academy, and Mr. Fridolin Egerer<\/strong>, International Relations Officer.<\/p>\n

The Austrian delegation was welcomed by the Director General of OBI, Mr. Panagiotis Kanellopoulos<\/strong>, and the meeting was attended by Ms. Aikaterini Margellou<\/strong>, Deputy Director General & Director of Legal Matters and International Affairs, Ms. Theodora Simitsi<\/strong>, Deputy Director General, Mr. Aris Pittaras<\/strong>, Director of Application and Grants, Ms. Uioulli Papapostolou<\/strong>, Director of Technological Information & Head of the Innovation Agency, Ms. Eleni Miskou<\/strong>, Director Secretariat, Ms. Despina Spanou<\/strong>, Director of Legal Affairs, Mr. Demetris Stafylas<\/strong>, Director of Search Directorate, Ms. Myrto Lamprou-Maurer<\/strong>, Head of International Affairs, Ms. Rania Zacharopoulou<\/strong>, Head of the Communication Department, and Mr. Ludovikos Van-Heurck<\/strong>, Head of the ICT Inventions Department, Patent Examiner and member of the Hellenic Industrial Property Academy.<\/p>\n
