{"id":21406,"date":"2026-02-12T15:09:48","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T13:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/?p=21406"},"modified":"2026-02-12T15:09:48","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T13:09:48","slug":"european-inventor-network-epo-4th-call-for-inspiring-activities-for-the-young-generation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/en\/european-inventor-network-epo-4th-call-for-inspiring-activities-for-the-young-generation\/","title":{"rendered":"European Inventor Network, EPO: 4th Call for Inspiring Activities for the Young Generation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>European Inventor Network<\/strong>, founded in 2023 by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epo.org\/en\">European Patent Office<\/a>, aims to promote science and innovation among children aged 6 to 18.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"147\" data-end=\"473\">As part of its initiatives, under the theme \u201cOutreach to Children and Young People,\u201d and through engaging activities, it seeks to provide direct support to inventors so they can inspire young minds\u2014the next generation\u2014while aligning their actions with one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"587\">Since 2023, 109 inventor-led activities have been supported in 29 countries, inspiring more than 6,000 children.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"693\">This year, the <strong>4th Call for Inspiring Activities<\/strong> is announced, for activities to be implemented in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Call<\/strong> is summarized here in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.obi.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/One-pager_EIN_NPOs.pdf\">one\u2011pager.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>What can inventors propose? They are encouraged to think boldly and creatively!
