The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) participated with its staff in the PATLIB Conference 2025, at the headquarters of the European Patent Office (EPO) in Vienna.
Representing the Organisation, the following participated in the conference: the Director of Technological Information and Head of the Innovation Agency, Mrs. Uioulli Papapostolou; the Head of Technological Department and Innovation Dissemination Dpt. Mrs. Vivian Makri; the Head of OBI’s Regional Office in Thessaloniki and associate of the Directorate of Technological Information, Dr. Giorgos Asimopoulos; Mr. Anastasios Kardaris, associate of the Directorate of Technological Information; and Mr. Giorgos Oikonomidis, associate of Search Directorate.
The Organisation, having developed a network of 7 PatLibs in the regional districts of the country (Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, Volos, Ioannina, Xanthi-Komotini, Kozani), under its administrative and operational planning, participates in all developments of the global PatLib network. It stays informed about new technology transfer tools – interactive platforms (Technology Intelligence Platform) developed by the EPO, European Commission policies, women’s entrepreneurship, successful cases within the network, as well as the continuously growing interest in SMEs and startups. It strengthens its collaboration network with experts in technology transfer, international organisations, and entrepreneurship professionals.
