The European Inventor Network, founded in 2023 by the European Patent Office, aims to promote science and innovation among children aged 6 to 18.
As part of its initiatives, under the theme “Outreach to Children and Young People,” and through engaging activities, it seeks to provide direct support to inventors so they can inspire young minds—the next generation—while aligning their actions with one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since 2023, 109 inventor-led activities have been supported in 29 countries, inspiring more than 6,000 children.
This year, the 4th Call for Inspiring Activities is announced, for activities to be implemented in 2027.
The Call is summarized here in the one‑pager.
