March 8, 2026: International Women’s Day — Joint Statement by National Intellectual Property Offices

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2026, with the theme “Rights, Justice, Action: For all women and girls”, the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), together with other national industrial property offices, through a joint message, commits to continuing efforts to ensure equal access for women to the opportunities offered by the intellectual property system, addressing existing inequalities and promoting a fair, inclusive innovation environment.

Encouraging women’s participation in the field of innovation is not only a matter of equality but also a key factor in enhancing creativity and competitiveness, while contributing significantly to sustainable development.
