Master’s Program in Intellectual Property – Chinese Government Scholarship

The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of China and the China Scholarship Council (CSC), is offering in 2026 a master’s program in intellectual property law: the Belt and Road Master Program on Intellectual Property (BRIPC). The program is two years long and includes one year of academic studies in China at either Zhongnan University of Economics and Law or Tongji University, and one year in the candidate’s home country to complete a thesis. It is addressed to employees of national intellectual property offices/services, lawyers, and professionals with at least two years of experience in intellectual property matters and is conducted in English.

The Chinese Government (China Scholarship Council) provides a scholarship covering tuition, accommodation expenses, a monthly allowance, and health care for the first year. Interested candidates must submit their application to the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI). A committee at OBI will evaluate the applications in order to propose 2 candidates to CNIPA for participation in the program. Interested parties are invited to send the application and supporting documents by email to zsak@obi.gr, as well as submit or mail the original documents in a sealed envelope marked “CNIPA Master’s Program” to the Protocol Office of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation, 5 Yianni Stavroulaki Street, 151 25 Paradisos, Amarousiou, no later than Monday, May 4, 2026, at 13:00. The results of the committee’s evaluation will be communicated to applicants via email.
