OBI Participation in UNOFEST 2025 – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Festival, University of West Attica

The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), promoting meaningful dialogue for the development of the country’s innovation network, strengthening academic institutions, and enhancing their technological knowledge in terms of industrial property, participated with its executives in UNOFEST 2025, the 1st Innovation & Entrepreneurship Festival of the University of West Attica (5–6 November 2025).

The Organisation was represented by Ms. Uioulli Papapostolou, Director of Technological Information and Head of the Innovation Agency at OBI, who took part in a panel discussion titled “From Research to Entrepreneurship: Empowerment, Outreach, and Networking as Drivers of Growth.” The panel also included representatives from Enterprise Greece, the national body for promoting internationalization; the PRAXI Network, a body supporting innovation and technology transfer; and the We Lead initiative, which promotes women’s entrepreneurship and leadership.

This participation is part of OBI’s broader strategic collaboration with Greek universities, aiming to provide continuous support to the academic community in the protection and exploitation of innovation.

OBI and the University of West Attica have committed to further strengthening their collaboration through joint actions, educational programs, and initiatives that enhance the connection between research and entrepreneurship.

OBI’s presence was complemented by an informational booth, where students, researchers, and start-ups had the opportunity to learn about the Organisation’s services and the ways industrial property rights can be used to protect and commercialize innovation.

Also participating in the festival were Ms. Vivian Makri, Head of the Technological Information Directorate and member of the Communication Department; Ms. Antigoni Konstantakou, Ms. Flora Zacharaki, and Mr. Anastasios Kardaris, members from the Technological Information Directorate, as well as Ms. Christina Andrikopoulou, associate of the Search Directorate.
