OBI participated in the 34th Money Show in Thessaloniki, in support of the SEVE event titled “USA – MERCOSUR – India: New trade agreements, new trade routes, new challenges.”
As part of the event, Ms. Uioulli Papapostolou, Director of Technological Information and Head of the Innovation Agency at OBI, presented the topic “Protecting Innovation – Driving Exports,” highlighting the importance of industrial property as a strategic choice for business policy and export expansion.
Opening remarks were delivered by Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Stavros Kalafatis, as well as Nikolaos Margaropoulos (President of the Greek – Italian Chamber of Commerce of Thessaloniki) and Symeon Diamantidis (President of SEVE), while Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Harry Theoharis participated via a recorded message.
Key presentations were given by Mr. Panagiotis Chasapis (Executive Vice President of SEVE) and Mr. Dimitris Skalkos (ΓSecretary General for Public Investment and Partnership Agreement), followed by a discussion with the participation of business representatives, Mr. Georgios Konstantopoulos (OLYMP SA), Mr. Lazaros Ioannidis (AGROPHOENIX) and Mr. Georgios Vanidis (MEVGAL).
OBI emphasized the importance of protecting innovation as a key factor in enhancing the international competitiveness of Greek businesses.
