The Deputy Minister of Development, Mr. Lazaros Tsavdaridis, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), where he met with the President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dimitris Chronis, the Vice President, Mr. Leonidas Dragoumanos, the Director General, Mr. Panagiotis Kanellopoulos, members of the Board, as well as employees of the Organisation.
During his visit, the Deputy Minister had the opportunity to engage in discussions with the Organisation’s management and staff, reaffirming the longstanding role of OBI as an institutional pillar for the promotion and support of innovation in Greece. He also witnessed firsthand the high level of expertise and the dedication of OBI’s personnel to their mission. The specialized staff informed him about the crucial role they play in safeguarding innovation. The protection of Patents, Trademarks, and Industrial Designs constitutes a cornerstone for fostering research, attracting investment, and showcasing Greek creativity in the international market.

We are systematically working toward creating a friendly and modern environment that promotes research, rewards innovation, and highlights quality as a fundamental pillar of Greek production,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Development.
