A well-trained Intellectual Property adviser can help hundreds of businesses. That is why building IP capacity within business support organizations across Europe creates a multiplier effect throughout the entire innovation ecosystem.
Through the Train the Adviser programme of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), business advisers, innovation organizations, chambers of commerce, incubators, startups and other SME support organizations work together to strengthen their knowledge of Intellectual Property, exchange experiences and learn from experts.
Since April 2025, nine sessions specifically designed for business advisers have been held, with almost 1,000 participants from more than 29 countries attending these activities.
On 23 September 2026, those interested can attend the IP Basics training session free of charge.
