We would like to inform you that the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) is once again participating this year in the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), an institution of major importance for the country’s business, economic and social activity. With the aim of providing visitors with meaningful information and guidance on the protection and exploitation of Industrial Property, OBI actively contributes to the dissemination of know-how and the development of the Greek innovation ecosystem.
Throughout the Fair (5–13 September 2026), at Pavilion 7, OBI Stand, specialised staff with a high level of scientific expertise and many years of experience in their respective fields will be available to the public, providing well-founded information and guidance on matters relating to the protection of Industrial Property and the promotion of innovation.
On Sunday, 6 September 2026, at 13:00, OBI, in cooperation with the Independent Authority for Consumer Protection and Market Control, is organising Creatrivia, a Knowledge and Creativity Game aimed at upper secondary school students.
This year’s event will be attended by students from the 2nd Grade of the 28th General Lyceum of Thessaloniki.
The Intellectual Property Knowledge Game, “Creatrivia! Think, Play, Win with the Power of Intellectual Property”, will take place at the OBI Stand, offering teenagers an interactive experience exploring the basic principles of intellectual property through play, collaboration and creative thinking. The game introduces young people to the world of Intellectual Property in an accessible and engaging way, providing them with the knowledge they need about inventions, designs, trademarks, geographical indications, music, speech, text, the Arts, counterfeiting, copying and “fake” products. At the end, the winning team will receive prizes, while all participants will receive souvenirs and, of course, the experience itself.
